So now we are on to the reception with Katie and Dom...it's already been a full day and we are only half way there at this point!
Mariah had the great idea of the little flags as Dom is from Canada and Katie the US (which is best!). Anyway.
So here we have the moms and dads joining together for this international union. But since it's still North America it's not really that much of a stretch.
We finally just had to shut ourselves off from photo taking because we could have kept going, but there were drinks to be sipped!
Dom's grandparents who were still in Canada even got to enjoy the wedding via the internet, how great is technology!
OK, so the ring bearer as you know was not a happy camper most of the day, but who wouldn't be smiling wide if they were shooting with a red camera??? Where do you get one of these? I want one! Black is so boring, what about a set of colors? Alright I'm getting a little carried away, but I do love to coordinate!
I met up with these guys again down at the end of the property for a few more photos, because we are unstoppable!
I love it when someone is really enthusiastic in the back of the group! That actually happens a lot, it's like some kind of weird psychological thing that makes people need to do that in the big group photo.
So on the way to the reception I was saying to Mariah in the car (actually in Mike's huge Cadillac Escalade which he was nice enough to chauffeur us around in all day, thanks Mike!) that I wished more people would have the cute pedestal for the cake, like Martha.
More amazing arrangements by Sayles. I love the lamb's ear leaves! But I feel bad for the lambs. (kidding)
This is their friend who flew in from British Columbia that day to be there, he unfortunately missed some of the earlier festivities because he was traveling. He was the mc for the evening and introduced all of the toasters, and did and amazing job, then was leaving after the wedding to travel right back, wow, that's a good friend!
They have a lot of great friends who gave some wonderful toasts and had such nice things to say about them, cheers!
I saw a lady picking these signs off as she was getting cupcakes. Could that frosting be a little more appealing right now. I have to move on to the next photo.
OK, this guest in the blue shirt was trouble(I know he knows)...but I will get to that in the Photo Lounge post.
A last shot on the sweetheart staircase. What a fantastic day!!! I think we were ALL exhausted from the fun, it was a blast working with you both, wishing you a long and happy life together!!!!!
