Socialites Byrdie Bell, Sophia Hesketh, and Shoshanna Lonstein Grusscelebrated the grand opening of Burberry’s North American headquarters with a party hosted by Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey, across the street from the British brand’s 444 Madison digs, the previous home of New York and the fictional Poise (from the film “13 Going On 30″), at the Palace Hotel. Model Lily Donaldson helped inaugurate the freshly installed five-foot tall Burberry sign perched atop the Midtown skyscraper.

Sophia recently attended a private dinner at Vito Schnabel’s on the arm of a fellow “Honourable,” banking heir Nat Rotschild. (The blonde Vogue Nipponstylist was, in her youth, linked with financier Robie Uniake.) Fashion designer Shoshanna is back in New York City after a nationwide trunk show tour promoting her wares, which now include a bathing suit fusion line with her childhood best friend, Charlotte Ronson.
