Priyanka Nair to act opposite Dileep in Madhu Kaithapram Film
Veyyil fame Priyanka Nair will be the heroine opposite Dileep in an untitled Malayalam commercial film directed by Madhu Kaithapram. Veteran actor Rahim Kadavathu has written the story; screenplay is by C.V. Balakrishnan.This untitled film is the story of a nuclear family (father, mother and five year old son) which faces many problems following some unexpected incidents. The official launch of the film will take place next week. This is the third film by director Madhu, whose directorial debut Ekantham in 2007 was well received. His second film Madhyavenal also got a decent response last year.
Priyanka says she is very excited about doing a fully commercial film. "My role is interesting and I am happy to act opposite Dileep ettan. I am currently shooting in Cumbam-Theni area for Then Kath Mann (Tamil). I plan to go home for Onam after which I will be doing director Madhu's film."
Ananya’s daring act in Shikar
Ananya has done a daring act in Mohanlal’s Shikar climax in the mountains of Kodaikanal.
She was willing to go down a ravine only with a safety rope tied around her waist. Director Padmakumar and Mohanlal dissuaded her from doing this particular scene, but the brave girl that she is, willingly agreed to do it without a dupe!
After the shot Mohanlal went and hugged and congratulated her for her daring act. Mohanlal told her: “You are a brave girl. I never expected you to be so brave and daring; you are the Vijayshanthi of Malayalam cinema.” Tears of happiness rolled down her cheeks because Lal ettan acknowledged her bravery.
Says Ananya : “ Lal ettan is my all time favourite actor I play his daughter in the film. He was so helpful and went out of the way to make me comfortable during the shoot.”
Naaduvazhikal 2 Will Start Rolling on September
Shaji Kailas is remaking Naaduvazhikal with Prithviraj playing Arjun. Shaji Kailas will start calling the shots of his remake of ‘Naduvazhikal’ from this September.The original scripted by S N Swamy and directed by Joshy was a movie which gave Mohanlal the charisma of a mass action hero, who also cracks jokes and romances a mystery girl. Prithvi who has already proved himself in serious action roles and romantic characters will try a bit of lighter sequences, which may help him to end up as an all rounder.
